In 2022, FuturED was selected by Google among 500 companies with influence in LATAM and the UK as a success story, and it was presented at the Royal Institution in an event organised in partnership with Canning House and the Global Entrepreneur Programme of the Department of Trade (DIT) of the United Kingdom.

More recently, in December 2023, Juan represented for the third consecutive year the UN’s University for Peace as a Head of Delegation at the COP28, the UN Conference on Climate Change that took place in Dubai, EUA.

Juan is currently taking part in the doctoral programme in Higher Education Management of the University of Bath. Juan has a UN Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy by the University for Peace of the United Nations (UPEACE) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). He has also an MBA from the International University of Monaco and BA (Hons.) in Global Politics and International Relations from Birkbeck, University of London.

Juan is the Managing Director of the International Roundtable “Technologies for Sustainability”, and the founder of the annual International Charity Gala “Education for Sustainability” that takes place in London with the aim of raising funds to support diverse projects related to education.
