Arizona State University (ASU) is partnering with the World Education Summit (WES) to offer CEUs for Summit participation. By successfully completing CEU courses from ASU, Summit attendees can leverage the learning they do at the World Education Summit into earned professional development units (or hours). Find out how here:

What are CEUs?

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are often among the criteria used by employers and licensing bodies to determine promotion, salary increase and credential renewal.  Arizona State University’s continuing education courses are designed to be accessible, outcomes-driven and evidence-based. They are a great way for educators and education leaders to translate Summit learnings into practical action that strengthens teaching and learning communities.

Who are CEUs available to?

CEUs are available to US citizens. It is the responsibility of the learner to independently verify whether the CEUs issued by Arizona State University will be accepted by their respective school, association, or board.

How can I access CEUs?

Any WES sessions watched, will be recorded and evidenced by a learner report which is downloadable from the WES platform. The learner must submit this report as evidence of a minimum of 10 hours of attendance in WES sessions. There is a reflective assignment that includes the learner’s key takeaways from the sessions they participated in as well as an action plan for impact. The learner must meet the required criteria to earn the CEU.

How can I claim CEUs?

Participants will have the option to earn 1, 2, or 3 CEUs. The number of CEUs awarded will be based on the duration of the learning activity (1 CEU = 10 seat hours). Enrolment and payment for CEUs will be facilitated through Arizona State University’s Career Catalyst platform.

How much do CEUs cost?

Professional learning cost is separate from Summit registration fees:

$99 for 10 hours of CEU credit, 1 CEU credit
$199 for 20 hours of CEU credit, 2 CEU credits
$299 for 30 hours of CEU credit, 3 CEU credits
