This session will present Christine’s work on high-expectation teaching and show how high-expectation teachers provide exciting and challenging learning opportunities for all students. The session will present the three key high-expectation principles, show how these are interrelated and how they are all prerequisites to creating a high-expectation classroom in which all students will flourish. Christine will also present the results of an experimental study that she conducted that showed that when any teachers were taught the high-expectation principles and implemented them, their students’ achievement increased substantially.
