Session Description

You can best help students if you share your findings widely and effectively. For example, getting your knowledge into the media informs public opinion, which informs political priorities and stances, which informs legislation that impacts students. This book covers opportunities (including getting reporters and others to pursue you), branding (websites, social media, pitch, etc.); speaking (TED Talks, conferences, media interviews, NPR/radio, etc.); writing (book deals, journals, magazines, etc.); and resources available to groups traditionally underrepresented in field dialogue.
