Session Description
The Chair of the FED, Carl Ward, and FED Executive, Jo Malone, will discuss the origins and evolution of the Foundation for Education Development, focusing on the problem it seeks to solve. Together, they will share what they have learned through undertaking the largest qualitative consultation on the state of education in England. They will outline the FED’s proposals for creating an education infrastructure which takes a long-term view and is robust yet agile, inclusive, evidence-informed, accountable and future-facing. They will share what is next for them in terms of influencing education policy-making both in England and globally.
