Session Description

In this session, we will present key ideas related to Responsive Teaching for Sustainable Learning (RT4SL), an approach to inclusive education which ensures the learning of all students. The frameworks and strategies we have brought together in this work are anchored in decades of practice in teaching and teacher education, and informed by Australian and international research about what works in classrooms. By discussing some ‘big ideas’ that underpin RT4SL, we will challenge our audience to consider how they can contribute to a culture of outcomes for their students and create learning environments that value diversity, inclusion and belonging.
