Technology has forever changed how we live and work. It has even affected how we think and talk. However, many educational institutions still use methods/curricula from a decade or two ago. We propose an innovative approach that focuses on learning essential skills that better position students for success in the evolving 21st-century workforce. In addition to the hard skills students learn in academic institutions, our students are trained in a variety of essential skills that include (a) cognitive, (b) personal, (c) social, (d) technology, and (e) business skills. This presentation explains our framework and describes these skills in more detail.
