Session Description

Looking at differences between surface learning and deep learning as well as the impact of these in the classroom and on student confidence, and achievement and preparing them for life beyond school and the language classroom. We shall be looking at the cognitive, intrapersonal and interpersonal implications of Deep Learning in the language classroom and benefits will also be presented concerning the latest research in Neuroscience, Neuroplasticity and the Teenage Brain but also make sure we introduce and embed these into our lessons. With lots of examples and activities to take away which can be easily applied to any language & adapted for different age groups.
