In this talk we will unpack what critical thinking is, widening the definition to describe a whole state of mind and approach; challenges to critical thinking will then be evoked (social media, bandwagoning and the steep rise of technology. Having explored the implications of generative artificial intelligence on schooling, assessment and learning, the talk will end with some key takeaways.
