The presenter will share top tips from her books that are the easiest and most effective adaptations that support autistic pupils in any school. These include adapting to the environment, communication tools and sensory regulation support that create a calm and accessible classroom for many autistic young people. These also have the benefit of supporting other children whose needs may not yet identified. Teachers want to teach and these books show how that can be made possible, even in busy classrooms.
