Session Description

Most educators are unaware of the fourth industrial revolution technologies slowly embedding society and humans: the metaverse, NFTs, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, WEB3, blockchain, wearables, etc. Yet, students are embracing these technologies outside of school. What does it mean for education, and what will be its long-term impact? How can educators prepare for it? In this session, you will learn about these technologies used in apps you already know, and how to take advantage of them to enhance your students’ academic achievements. You will also learn the consequences of taking no action.
