Alan O'Donohoe

Speaker Summary

Following over 20 years’ experience of teaching computing and technology in state schools in the UK, Alan O’Donohue joined Bradford-based ISP Exa Networks in 2015 to develop a non-profit STEM enrichment programme, exa.foundation. The foundation’s aim is to inspire and engage audiences with computer science, support the teaching of computing in schools and outside of school, and to promote the safe, secure and appropriate use of technology. Alan’s job is to host a year-round programme of community events, workshops and activities, developing content and resources to nurture a love for computer science in audiences of all ages and all backgrounds.
